The title of this book translates as “The Prism in Your Hands”. The lithographic book includes images from Aldrovandi's 17th century compendium on minerals. Each mineral is shaded with the spectra of visible light, as is the background on which the sequence unfolds. The title suggests, on the one hand, that a book in your hands is prismatic. On the other hand, it alludes to the act of reading as a prism in itself. One in which the act of interpretation brings to light and visibility that which a text embodies.
